An endoscope is used that provides a clear view of internal structures surrounding the GI tract.<br \/>It provides an excellent view of internal parts such as the biliary system, pancreas, and mediastinum.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7f68828 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7f68828\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Technique<\/strong><br \/>After conscious sedation, EUS is conducted via an oral route.<br \/>The sample is obtained from the suspected lesions including nodes in the mediastinum, and tumorous tissue of biliary duct and pancreas.<br \/>An internal drainage of various collections is possible, draining into the stomach or rectum.
